I am super, SUPER excited that this project is finally happening! Kathleen Hanna is my idol, role model, hero, and generally, the essence of awesome in my view! So when I discovered that a feature length documentary was being produced to tell her story, I think I either jumped up punching the air, or nearly fainted...either way, its going to be freakin' brilliant. The Punk Singer - The Documentary About Kathleen Hanna is directed by film maker Sini Anderson and produced alongside Alan Oxman & Gwen Bialic in Brooklyn, New York. The release date is set for 2012.
